Damian Welch brings more than 25 years of experience helping organisations improve performance through culture, engagement, transformation, and change. He works with leadership teams to build high-trust, purpose-driven organisations, strengthen employee engagement, navigate complex change, and create environments where people and businesses thrive together.
He has led large-scale culture and engagement initiatives across global organisations, including the integration of more than 20 acquisitions and the rollout of enterprise-wide engagement frameworks. As the architect of Mars’ global engagement approach, Damian developed a programme that delivered more than $1 billion in value by 2024, demonstrating the direct link between employee engagement and business performance.
His career spans leadership roles at Gallup and Mars, where he served as Global Head of Culture and Engagement before founding Oxygen of Change, a workplace culture performance consultancy. Combining strategic business thinking with empathy and human-centred design, Damian helps organisations build agile, resilient cultures that drive sustainable results while enabling people to perform at their best.
