All learning starts with self-awareness

We need to be aware of the need to learn before we will want to learn, so we use tools like self-assessments, feedback from direct reports and feedback from the learner’s manager to raise their self-awareness.

This then creates the desire to learn. In the learning itself we not only give people the theory, but we also enable them to practice what they have learnt. In fact, our philosophy is 75% practice and only 25% theory as practice is where the learning is embedded.

Practice creates the confidence for the learner to commit to taking action back on the job, and the opportunity to reflect on what worked and what didn’t. This then raises their self-awareness even more.  And so the cycle continues.
