Before becoming a coach, trainer and facilitator, Axel worked over many years internationally and regionally in commercial leadership roles in the Pharmaceutical industry.

Axel is a qualified systemic and solution focused executive and team coach, competency-based trainer, dialogue mapping and dialogue decision-making, and experimental learning facilitator. He is also certified in DiSC, Belbin Team Roles and Hogan assessments

A German citizen, born and raised in Japan, Axel is fluent in Japanese, German, English and French. Based in Japan, he has worked with leaders and leadership talents at multinational and Japanese companies in Japan and throughouth Asia-Pacific.

Axel is a member of the JCA (Japanese Coaching Associa1on, ICF Associated), FAJ (Facilitators Associate of Japan) and the Nihon no Jinibu Net (Japan’s HR department network).
