Steve Hurst

Having held senior roles in Leadership & Executive Development and Learning & Organisational Effectiveness, Steve is a widely respected leader who has a proven track record in creating highly engaged, performance driven, successful teams and businesses.

The first half of his career was as an engineer for Xerox. After coming ‘off tools’ he took his career into team leadership, regional service management, change management and eventually management training with Xerox EMEA. A career then followed in five diverse industries including: Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Construction, Oil & Gas and Technology.

During the last 27 years he has worked with numerous multinationals, either in senior leadership roles, or as an external consultant, where his style is personable and collaborative. Having worked at various levels within an organisation, Steve is able to understand the dynamics and politics at play. He is always keen to fully understand the current context of an organisation and views it as an important part of the consulting process leading to solutions that have the required impact.

As a coach, Steve’s training is based on ‘solution focused’ methodology, which means he is able to hold coaching conversations that are action oriented and that build meaning and resourcefulness towards the successful outcomes the coachee is looking to bring into their lives.

He is an experienced coach and facilitator and is qualified in Organizational Development with NTL, Action Learning with Roffey Park and Learning in Action with IMD, as well as Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, Gallup Strengths Finder, MBTI, FIRO-B, Insights, OPQ Level A & B, Tetra Map, Keirsey.
