Recently, I had the privilege of experiencing a four-day leadership workshop designed and facilitated by Management Dynamics. This workshop was the in person centrepiece of a three-month European Business Course for high potential leaders in Samsung Electronics Europe. As a summer intern, I expected to learn a lot through observation and I quickly realised how much I could grow and learn by getting involved.

The workshop explored the concept of what gives you the edge as a leader, with only those Diamond Leaders being able to build truly high-performing Diamond Teams. What struck me was how big concepts and practical tools were brought to life through creative, colourful, hands-on methods. We didn’t just talk about beginning with the end in mind, we built Martini Glasses that reflected the culture and behaviours we would expect a Diamond Team to display. We didn’t just talk about customer experience, we built products with LEGO, piece by piece, connecting creativity to customer centricity.
I watched participants come out of their shells, wrestle with ideas, think about how to put their insights into practice and really come together as a cohort. My own role of supporting the Management Dynamics team – whether setting up behind the scenes or capturing my own insights – felt meaningful because I was actively helping to create the space for others to learn, connect and grow.
More than anything, I was moved by how much thought and effort goes into HOW each and every learning chunk had been created to deliver meaning alongside the content. Ultimately, how the facilitators blended structure with play, and coached within tiny teaches, created a space in which participants felt psychologically safe to stretch themselves and explore new ideas.
This experience taught me that leadership isn’t about having all the answers – it’s about asking better questions, creating the right environment, and providing space for people to be themselves more and with skill. I’m so grateful I got to be part of it.
